The theme is Notepad, with which some minor tweaking let’s me run this like a Web site (home page, static inside pages, etc) but with a lot of blog elements (a blog, of course, also widgets, themes, plug-ins, feeds and more).

I REALLY like the idea of running Web sites — not just blogs — on Wordpress (more to come on this front soon, I think). For a personal site or small business, I just think it makes a lot of sense.

Other resources I use: HostGator for Web hosting, GoDaddy for domains, Tumblr.com for site feed creation, Twitter/Twitdeck for Twittering. There are probably more I’m forgetting.
